Viola Aronson Myers
Viola Myers passed away peacefully at the age of 97 on Saturday, February 27, surrounded by her family. She was born in Chicago in 1912 and moved to Washington, DC during World War II to work for the Treasury Department. She met and married Henry J. Myers in 1947. Viola lived in Garrett Park, MD for 45 years, where she raised her family and was active in the community. She returned to school and became an elementary school librarian. She and her husband loved birding and travel. Following the death of her husband, she moved to Exeter, NH. Viola is survived by her daughters, Jessica Albertsen of Silkeborg, Denmark and Rhoda Capron of Nottingham, NH., grandchildren, Daniel Albertsen, Molly Capron and Seth Capron and great grandchildren, Jacob Henry Zisman and Samuel Aaron Zisman .
There will be a private family memorial.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to MCPS Educational Foundation with �Toolkits Project� on the memo line and sent to Mrs. Joan Donovan, 13 Hilton Court, Gaithersburg, MD 20882-3521 or American Parkinson�s Disease Association.
