Howard B. Page, 81, died March 8, 2010 at the Exeter Healthcare after a brief illness.
He was born December 1, 1928 in Brentwood, NH, son of the late Oscar Page and Geneva (Severance) Page.
Howard was a longtime resident of Fremont, NH. He was the longtime owner and operator of the Brentwood Box Co. Howard sold the mill and retired 25 years ago.
Mr. Page was the proud owner of a 1929 Model A Ford and enjoyed driving it in all the parades. In his free time, he loved spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, trapping, deer hunting, playing the organ at home, and eating most of his meals at Bessie's Diner in Brentwood.
He was pre deceased by his wife, Marion (Beane) Page, who died July 22, 1995, and 1 granddaughter, Carey Lynn Doucette, who died in 1999.
Mr. Page is survived by a daughter, Deborah Doucette of Fremont, NH, two sons, Donald Page of Exeter, NH and Douglas Page of Fremont, NH, 5 grandchildren, 2 great-grandsons, a brother, Lloyd Page of PA., two sisters, Pauline Fox of Pittsfield, NH and Eleanor McCullough of Effingham, NH, several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, March 10, 2010 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Brewitt Funeral Home, Raymond, NH.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 11, 2010 at 11:00 AM at the People's United Methodist Church, Fremont, NH.
Spring burial will be in the Village Cemetery, Fremont, NH.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Carey Lynn Doucette Scholarship Fund, c/o Debbie and Dave Doucette, 288 Main St. Fremont, NH 03044.
