Josephine A. Tetreault, 75, died December 11, 2012 at the Oceanside Skilled Nursing Center in Hampton, NH after a long illness. She was born September 24, 1937 in Manchester, NH, daughter of the late Charles and Shirley (Edwards) Dewan.
Josephine was a graduate of the Jeremiah Burke High School in Dorchester, MA. She married Raymond Tetreault on September 30, 1955, and while he was in the military, they were stationed in Libya, Germany, and several other various states. They have now been Exeter, NH residents for the past 40 years. Josephine had formerly worked at the Exeter Hospital for 20 years.
She was a Communicant of St. Michael Church, Exeter, NH.
Josephine loved children and animals. She enjoyed country music and her favorite artist was Patsy Cline.
She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Raymond Tetreault of Exeter, daughter, Jo-Ann Tetreault of New Orleans, LA., son, Raymond Tetreault of Great Falls, MT., 2 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, 2 sisters, Joan Woroniak of Raymond, NH and Virginia Hill of MN., a brother, Charles Dewan of Turkey.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, December 14, 2012 from 4:00-6:00 PM at the Brewitt Funeral Home, 14 Pine St., Exeter, NH.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, December 15, 2012 at 12:00 PM at the Exeter Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the N.H. SPCA, PO Box 196, Stratham, NH 03885.
