Nathan M. Smith, 28, died unexpectedly at his home in Raymond on May 21, 2017. He was born on May 8, 1989 in Exeter, NH and lived most of his life in Raymond, NH.
A graduate of Raymond High School, he resided briefly in Newmarket, NH and was formerly employed as a manager in retail and also worked often at a local farm. In his younger years, Nathan was a member of the Boy Scouts of America, and while in high school, he travelled to Costa Rica with Seacoast School of Technology, to study entomology.
Nathan was a free spirited young man who enjoyed life and liked reading and learning about Egyptian culture and attending Renaissance fairs. He was also a Harry Potter fanatic and enjoyed attending events related to the subject.
He was predeceased by his mother who died recently on December 17, 2016. He is survived by his father, Edward Smith Sr. of Raymond, NH; 2 sisters, Rebecca Pepper of Concord, NH and Katelyn Smith of Raymond, NH; and 2 brothers, Edward Smith Jr., and Tyler Smith, both of Raymond, NH; his nephew Ryan Pepper and niece Mikayla Whitney, both of Manchester, NH; and 2 great nieces, Maya and Emma; many aunts, uncles, grandaunts, granduncles and cousins.
There will be a Celebration of Life for Nathan held on Thursday, June 1, 2017 at 2 PM at the Richard A. Mitchell American Legion Post 51, located on 232 Calef Highway, in Epping, NH. Brewitt Funeral Service, 2 Epping St., Raymond, NH is assisting the family.
