Guestbook for Christopher Moutis Showing 1 - 17 of 17 entries.

I remember how excited we were when he came home from the hospital as an infant, how he chased after us at play, and how he greeted me every time I came back home to Exeter with the same loving words and rather pointed assessments Van might offer me - flashing those beautiful, deep, brown, Moutis eyes, touching my heart with his intense joy, intelligence, or concern.

Sorry to hear of the passing of Christopher. He always had a smile and a quick come back at the the restaurant. Lots of fun.I was sad to see him leave the restaurant and NH.
Rest in peace Chris, you will never be forgotten.

My mother Stacia Bouchard was Chris' neighbor on Franklin St.Stacia passed away on March 14, 2017. I'm sure they are neighbors once again in the next world. Chris was always offering a helping hand to my mother and she enjoyed visiting his garden. May Chris rest in peace.

So sorry to hear about your painful loss, esp to the sibling I know and love, Peter, and his family.
Very small world: I learned of Chris' passing while in a wilderness lodge in British Columbia, only accessible by helicopter this week while totally off the grid. Chris' presence is found in every corner

Christopher was a wonderful man. I knew him in town as he had several places he served the public with his wonderful food. My father and mother who have also passed on loved Chris because he would always make them feel so comfortable .

Chris was also very helpful to the EAJHS & Middle School teacher
Helping them to have functions at his place of business.
We will miss his talents! God Bless!

Though not a native, Chris was a true Exonian. A make-it-happen kind of guy, he was always willing to help a worthy local cause.

Asked to serve on the board of the Exeter Crimeline he was a go to guy when we needed a fundraiser or an event venue.

Many knew him from his hospitality businesses but some of us were privileged to serve alongside him in his "contributing citizen mode" too.

Gone too soon but he left his mark.

I am sorry for the loss of your dear Christopher. May you find comfort in the many precious memories you shared with him as well as God's promise to reunite us with our dear loved ones that have fallen asleep in death. ( Isaiah 26:19) While you await the fulfillment of that promise, may you continue to draw strength from God, family and friends. All the best wishes for your family at this time. Take care.

From his days at The Exeter Inn, to The Tavern at River's Edge, to the Studio, Chris made a lasting impression on those who followed him. He was kind, generous, and a true Exonian who we both trusted and admired. This loss leaves a hole in the fabric of Exeter, and hopefully Chris is at peace and his memory will be held dear by all who were friended by him.
