Ruth and Family:
I was so sorry to hear of Dana's passing. He was a great co-worker and neighbor. I still have a picture of the sign he made for my Dad's doorway one Christmas - it read "Honest Howard's Used Cars"! Do you remember that? He even put lights on it! There were so many cars in the driveway - Dana came over and put it up while we were out! Loved their relationship - the bickersons over their fence! Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers -

I first met Dana before our ages contained two numbers. His family lived up in the woods behind my Aunt's home in Marlboro. When my Aunt Janet, adopted Dana, he and I became cousins. Dana was only a couple of years older than I so we tended to hang out together. One summer Dana introduced me to Peach and asked me to be a groomsman at his wedding. At that wedding Peach introduced me to Elsy Curtis to whom I was married for twenty-three years. Although we spent little time together as adults, I will always have special memories of my cousin and our younger days together. I know he grew to be a good man who took great care of a family and a community. I am sure he will be missed.

Mr. Wyman was beloved by all who knew him, a kind and generous man who fostered the love of creativity for thousands of kids (I still have my cutting board too). The world is a brighter place because he was in it.

I will always remember Dana for his dry sense of humor. To Ruth and family, we are sorry for your loss and know that his memory will last forever in the minds of those who knew him. Dana was from my home town of Keene, NH and we both moved to Exeter to work and live for many years. May God Bless his family and let everyone know he was a special person that touched us all.

When I first met Dana it was around 1980 when I was the Wyman's papergirl, which lasted a few years. He would always tease me about my payment, and I loved our banter then. I would then find my self in his 7th grade wood shop where I would again enjoy his humor and the class was so much fun. I, along with so many others still have my projects from that class! Then, years later I would again find the Wyman family close to my heart and attending many family get together events and concerts we would dance at. I always had a warm sense of love while there. Dana gave his all for his family, home and it showed. I remember him inviting me to bring my class (1996?) to visit his yard, it was so amazing, he loved to show it off. The children didn't want to leave.
I now pray for the family in hopes of healing along the journey of grief. You all are in my heart!
RIP Dana and I hope you are dancing!

My thoughts are with Dana's family. He was a great friend, sometimes mentor and the best neighbor anyone could have. Still have the painted rocks from Peaks as a reminder.

living down the road, we often walked past Dana's house and we'd meet him. he'd stop and chat of course about his grandchildren. so proud and thrilled to talk about them showing us the playground he created in his backyard. then the peonies were in bloom...."Do you want some?" he'd say and next thing we knew we had an armful. My girls had him in shop too and loved him. the world was a better place with him in it.

Dana was a decent and kind man. His legacy lives on in his children and grandchildren, who, in his reflection, make the world a better place.

Dana is the first person I think of when reading about wholehearted living. His unabashed kindness, humanity, and vigor rewarded him with many wonderful memories and a legacy to be truly proud of. I think heaven is being able to look back on your life with many more proud moments than regrets. I am certain Dana is enjoying his heaven.

My heartfelt condolences to the Wyman family on the passing of Mr. Wyman.

The patience he exuded in me while I built a small bookcase in his seventh grade wood shop class (which our son now uses many years later) is fondly remembered.

May he rest in peace.

Dana Wyman was the best!!! He always had a
smile. He was so helpful to everyone in life he came in contact with. He was a wonderful teacher, father, husband , Grandfather. He taught me a great deal as a co teacher when I taught with him at EAJH. There are many students out there who are better people because they had Mr. Wyman as a teacher. The world will miss Dana Wyman. My best to his family. I loved him very much ! Wendy Mac!
