My condolences to the Family. As the days and weeks pass by,and as you return to your daily routines, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends. Above all, draw close to God in prayer and he will draw close to you. James 4:8

Laura, Allan, Jim and family,
Fond memories of Betty when I visited and of her mentoring my kids in her pottery studio! Such a wonderful momma to many who knew her. My thoughts are with you. 💚

Goodbye to Betty, my first "mother-in-law" and rural life teacher. You were a force of nature and an institution in and of yourself. Condolences and love to the Batchelder family.

Betty's welcoming inclusiveness was a positive kindness for me, my son and about 150 children and chaperones I brought to visit her in her pottery studio over the years. May her wonderful family, a fuel for her energy, find comfort knowing she meant a great deal to many others.

Memories abound of the four couples that went out to dinner every month when we lived in Stratham. A fine lady who shared outstanding guidance to those in the many fields she touched.

So sorry to hear of Betty's passing. She was my/our librarian for my years at Stratham Memorial and was always there for all of the students. She will be missed but she left a wonderful legacy of love and living life!

Wow, what a beautiful obituary. Growing up in Stratham on Winnicutt Road, I remember many of the hats she wore either working, volunteering or just enjoying the community she loved. My thoughts and prayers are sent to your entire family and I thank you for all you did for Stratham.

Missing her every day, honored to be her friend, sharing church, families, camping trips and airline trips, countless long hours of open conversations over decades - since 1966 . . . richer for having had her in my life !
