Guestbook for Brian Denis Showing 1 - 6 of 6 entries.

Brian,
You're in a better place and at peace. I did not realize how sick you were. Sometimes life is such a whirlwind and we don't allow ourselves to take the time we need to "process" all that is going on around us. I am really going to miss you, eventhough I haven't been "down south" much since moving up to Berlin. I remember the conversations that we had bantering back and forth, neither of us willing to admit defeat. I remember when you and Sharon were "on top of the world." Business was good and life was good. Sharon, I know that you are going to miss Brian terribly but remember, he wouldn't want you to give up on living life. He would want you to keep busy and find something you like doing, something that will make you happy. I say that it is time for us to pull together and bring back the business as we now have a little extra "divine intervention" in making it happen. Rest in Peace Brian, you deserve it,life has been so hard for you in the past couple of years. Love you and we're all going to miss you!

Sharon,
We are very sorry for your loss. Though it has been several years since we have spoken, we have many fine memories of you both from "The Blue Iris" visits. We hope that you can focus on the happiness that you both shared and that you have strength in this time.

I first met Brian 30 years ago. He supervised perhaps as many as 10 to 15 of my clients as a probation officer. He was a throwback to the sort of old-fashioned concept of what a probation officer should be. He sincerely tried to help those young men and women he was assigned to supervise. He tried to find employment opportunities for them. He tried to obtain educational/vocational prospects for them. Brian was a sincerely good probation officer.
Over the years as our friendship and professional relationship developed, I came to know Brian more personally. He was truly a man of significant generosity. I will always remember his warm and engaging smile.
Rest in peace my friend. The world is truly a better place because of your life.
Fondly, Rodkey C.
