Dear Aunt Dot,

I have wonderful memories of your visits with Uncle Scott, Ken & Leigh. Several years ago, I put your picture in a collage of women who influenced me in a positive way as I grew up. I always appreciated your wisdom, humor and gentle demeanor. I hated that you had to suffer through the debilitating affects of the stroke for so long. I feel comforted now, because I know that you rest in the arms of the Lord with all the loved ones who passed on before you including Memere, Pepere, Victoria, Daddy, Mum and Jessie. I will never forget you. Love Always, Lisa

I write this with a very heavy heart. The last of my father's family and siblings has past on. It's the end of that Shevenell generation.
Aunt Dot, You were loving and loved to laugh. You laughed often when you were around us. You were so well read and so very passionate about many topics. I loved listening to you talk about the books you read when you came to visit in ME., when I was a young girl. It saddened me when you had your stroke many years ago. You lost your voice but still you smiled and laughed. It was so good for me to see you 2 years ago at the beautiful nursing home in N.H. in which you lived. You looked the same to me with your soft skin and bright eyes. We all were able to communicate together....and laugh. I will miss you. May you be at peace. Love, Your Neice, Helen
