I was lucky to marry into the Fernald/Welch family. Betsy & I shared our pregnancies while working at the bank. This was when I really got to know and love Betsy and Pete, then Amy and Beth. Betsy was so warm and caring. She will be missed by all, but especially by family. Writing from Arizona, can't return now - God bless all, hug each other for us, and we will see you all soon. Love

I remember the first time I met Betsy; I was bringing Beth home from college, and the first thing she did (having never met me) was give me a big huge hug!!! I recal thinking "who is this crazy lady hugging me", I soon figured out she was/is such a caring and loveable person whom just hearing her talk (if you can hear her)and see her smile brightens up the day!
