How I loved to go over to Aunt Gerts house to walk thru the barn and see the cows! I will always remember going to her house on Halloween, she made the best treats -there were homemade popcorn balls and candied apples! I remember playing with Scooby outside with her old umbrella one day during a summer rain storm and singing "Singing in the Rain". She was a lovely lady and we were so lucky to have her as our neighbor and "Aunt". She is remembered with much love. Thank you Aunt Gert for being so good to us all!

Carol - We were so sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. I'm sure having you with her at the end meant a lot to her. You are a good daughter. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Aunt Gert was a very dear neighbor and friend. I hold many special childhood memories that will always remain close to my heart. She was a wonderful cook and she always made a delicious assortment of Christmas cookies each year for our family to enjoy. I have made many of her recipes from the Stratham Unity Club cookbook over the years. I remember riding my bicycle over to her house and her inviting me in for lemonade. She always made me feel welcome and I enjoyed going over to see her and Scooby and watch her crochet. Aunt Gert was always out there helping out when it was time to hay. I remember her driving the old hay trucks even on the hottest days! Thank you for the wonderful memories Aunt Gert. You will be missed but never forgotten and always know how much I value these memories.

Aunt Gert will be missed by everyone that was blessed to know her. She always made us feel welcome when visiting. She was a great cook and a lot of laughs. I have childhood memories of our visits with her and Uncle Bunk that I will cherish forever.
Love,
Martha
